The PGS Company today announced the appointment of Paula Taborda Dos Guaranys as EVP – Acquisitions & Development. Paula, a veteran with over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, will work with Philippe & Guillaume Soutter, Co-founders at PGS.
“Having known Paula for over 10 years, we have had the chance to notice her professionalism and deep knowledge of the kids’ industry. We are pleased to be welcoming her to PGS and uniquely help build our content line-up”, said Philippe and Guillaume Soutter.
Paula is an award-winning media executive who later served as Original Content, Acquisition & Co-Productions Director for DeA Planeta Entertainment. Before joining Planeta, Paula was the creative mind behind Brazilian Globo Group kids’ content hub, where she led originals and international coproductions. As a recognition of her prominent voice in international children’s content, she was granted the World Screen Kids Trendsetter Award.
Paula will be responsible for providing expert strategic direction in developing Kids & Family content for the global market in her new role. Her goal is to create new opportunities, to enhance and expand PGS’s current offerings through acquisitions and development.
